The answer

Unfortunately, TeenHealthFX cannot diagnose over the internet. We understand that you may be scared to go to the doctor, however it is very important to get checked out to make sure everything is ok. It would be a good idea to at least talk to a parent, guardian or other trusted adult and call the doctor who prescribed you the birth control pills to let them know what is going on so they can provide you with proper next steps.

If you need help finding a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the [Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-5199[ for an appointment with an adolescent medicine specialist.
