The question
Dear TeenHealthFX,
How will a pacemaker affect my life and future? I just got diagnosed with Long QT-syndrome after many fainting spells and I need to get a pacemaker. I am scared. I don't really know how this is going to affect my future. Sometimes I think I shouldn't get it done. It doesn't help that I am mentally not in a very good place either because my cousin just died very recently. I really I think I need some encouragement. Thank you in advance!
