I was just wondering - If two minors sext each other without images, only via messages (again, NO IMAGES), is it illegal?

TeenHealthFX cannot give direct law advice as we are not law experts. However, [Cyberbullying.org clearly explains the sexting laws by state. It is our understanding that since no images are being exchanged, it is not considered illegal, however, it may depend on where you live.
We strongly recommend you do not send any text message that you would not want potentially shared with everyone. Anything that gets sent through social media, texting, or e-mail never goes away even if it has been deleted. Be mindful of what you are sending to other people, especially in terms of sexting.
