The question

Dear TeenHealthFX,

Black people can develop melanoma - researchers say the incidence of melanoma among Black people is about 10 percent of that in white people. However, many People of Color are unaware of the risk of melanoma skin cancer. The answer

Thank you for sharing that link with us. It is very important for all people to know that they are at risk for melanoma and other skin conditions despite skin color. Unfortunately, we cannot share that specific link due to Atlantic Health System policy, however, here are other helpful links:

[Skin Cancer & Skin of Color - The Skin Cancer Foundation

[Melanoma & Skin of Color - Melanoma Research Alliance (curemelanoma.org)

[Skin Cancer in People of Color (asds.net)
