For a virgin, is spotting after oral sex normal? There was no insertion or penetration of any kind.

The answer
It is possible for oral sex to cause some spotting especially if it was your first time. It is a very sensitive area and it can cause some irritation. It is also possible that it could have been the start of your period. Think back to your last period start date to make sure. If it was not your period and the spotting lasted a few days or you experience other symptoms such as pain, discomfort, or constant itching, we strongly recommend that you get checked out by a doctor since we cannot diagnose or treat over the internet.
